POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor is responsible for the organization, management, staffing and direction of the hemodialysis chronic unit and is responsible for all activities necessary for optimal patient care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation form an accredited School of Nursing, required
• Current State License with the Mississippi Board of Nursing, required
• One (1) year of dialysis experience, preferred

• Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
• Ability to access patient psychosocial needs and coordinate with other staff members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs
