Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Mississauga Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an experienced Shop Driver to join their team! If you have experience operating heavy trucks in construction or manufacturing industries? Then this is the position for you! In this position you will be working closely with the shipping and receiving team to help transport raw and finished materials to storage locations or job sites.

This position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry Road in Mississauga.
What We Offer:-Training Available-Located on a Bus Route
-Overtime available as needed-Full-time hours
-Unlimited Coffee and TeaA Day in the Life:-Picking orders and loading/unloading materials from trucks/trailers.

-Operate a Counterbalance Forklift and other forklifts as per training and requirements.

-Operate a Walkie.

-Prepare skids for shipping (shrink wrapping etc.).

-Secure loads on truck/trailers as required.

-Delivery of materials to storage or manufacturing shops (extrusions, insulation, glazing and architectural items).

-Complete and maintain safety check sheets & driver logs.

-Responsible for pre and post trip inspections of truck(s).

-Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.

-Regularly clean & organize work areas.
What You Bring:-Must have valid Class AZ license (or higher) & clean driving record-Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of heavy truck driving; flatbed experience is required-Excellent time management and organizational skills-Ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised-Ability to lift 80lbs for loading/offloading purposes#LI-RS1 $ 55,000 - $65,000 a year Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
