PM Operations Manager; Transportation Administration and Services

Through flexible delivery models, Ekkinox leverages the warehouse operations of Ekkinox Technical & Logistics Services or deploys Ekkinox teams on-site at client facilities. The capabilities of both Ekkinox affiliates cover the full logistics lifecycle, from warehousing and transportation to freight handling, packaging, kitting, and final shipment coordination.

Ekkinox is seeking a highly adaptable, detail-oriented individual to lead a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing frontline personnel, and ensuring the smooth execution of time-sensitive activities in alignment with organization standards and compliance requirements. This role serves as a primary point of contact for drivers, dispatch staff, and customers, ensuring service commitments are met while balancing safety, compliance and operational realities.

• Lead afternoon and evening dispatch operations in an LTL environment
• Manage execution of P&D and linehaul movements to meet service commitments
• Ensure on-time departures, efficient routing, and proper driver utilization.
• Monitor freight flow, service delays, and exceptions, implementing immediate corrective actions
• Use TMS tools to track dispatch activity, AS400 experience preferred but not required
• Partner with customer service and operations teams to address customer escalations and service issues
• Communicate delays, exceptions, and recovery plans clearly and proactively
• Balance customer expectations with operational and safety requirements
• Support service recovery efforts to maintain customer satisfaction
• Lead, coach, and develop dispatchers and operational support staff
• Set expectations, monitor performance, and provide real-time feedback
• Ensure appropriate staffing, training, and coverage during the shift
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and operational excellence
• Transportation experience in an LTL environment
• Proven leadership experience managing dispatchers and interacting with drivers and customers
• Strong understanding of dispatch operations, driver management and customer service
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
• AS400 experience preferred but not required
• Experience in high volume terminal operation

• Afternoon shift
• Shift start time is 2 PM- may require some flexibility to start earlier or later
• Capability to perform moderate physical tasks and adapt to various work environments
• Salary $90,000 - $110,000
