Senior Operations Manager

Our client is a mid-sized specialty courier and LTL operation with a national presence. The  Senior Manager, Operations  is responsible for overseeing the storage, movement and delivery of freight across Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. The role ensures operational excellence by delivering freight safely, on time and within budget while driving continuous improvement in service, cost and efficiency.

They work with a number of customers, all in the Business to Business space, working off Service Level agreements and regular reporting to the customer to ensure strong operational excellence.

This role will have responsibilities in Operational Management, People Management and Customer Management.

Ideal candidates will bring 5-10 years experience, ideally with management experience and an accredited logistics designation (e.g. P.Log, CCLP) or a college diploma in logistics / transportation.

You will also have demonstrated success working under pressure to meet or exceed delivery standards.
