Description
Are you ready to bring your Production control skills to a team that values precision and innovation? At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we're dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence. We're looking for skilled Production Control Technicians like you!
What You'll Do?
:
Work within Microsoft AX to create items, production orders, and schedules.
:
Ensure accuracy by reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routes before scheduling jobs.
:
Collaborate with purchasing to confirm bought-out items align with production schedules.
:
Monitor manufacturing progress to ensure delivery dates are met.
:
Interface with engineering, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
:
Address and resolve issues as they arise.
:
Maintain proper inventory levels and accuracy in AX.
:
Validate material and component allocations in AX and Item 360.
:
Schedule orders to maintain optimal levels of work in progress.
:
Perform other duties as required to support operational success.
What You'll Bring:
:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., planning, purchasing, or expediting).
:
Proven background in production control.
:
Strong computer skills with experience in ERP systems;
Microsoft AX experience is a plus.
:
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
:
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
:
Strong aptitude for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
:
Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
:
Ability to use and wear personal protective equipment as required.
:
Punctual, responsible, and dependable.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
