What You’ll Be Doing:

Designing, specifying, and writing comprehensive test cases for Ansys part of Synopsys - Optics applications, including Lumerical, Speos, and Zemax.

Creating, modifying, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts to ensure thorough functional, regression, and performance testing.

Developing and executing test plans, participating in defect management, and contributing to testing metrics and reporting.

Investigating and reproducing defects, collaborating with R&D teams to verify fixes and drive continuous product improvement.

Contributing to the development and enhancement of internal tools used for automated testing and quality assurance processes.

Working across diverse computing environments, including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Communicating technical findings and collaborating with technical specialists, product managers, and developers to address product issues.

What You’ll Need:

MS in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.

Experience in software quality assurance, test case development, and defect management.

Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Squish, Selenium) and continuous integration systems (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins).

Experience with revision control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, ADO/TFS).

Ability to work in diverse computing environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
