We're looking for a Dev Ops Engineer who’s ready to level up. You’ve got 2-4 years under your belt, you've shipped real infrastructure, and you're hungry to take on bigger challenges. The Commitment
Infrastructure & Cloud (GCP)

Help manage and optimize our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure

Deploy and maintain services across multiple regions (Canada, EU, APAC)

Learn to architect for high availability and disaster recovery

Monitor costs and implement optimization strategies

CI/CD & Deployments

Build and maintain deployment pipelines in Vercel for Next.js applications

Automate testing, builds, and deployments with Git Hub Actions

Help development teams ship code faster and safer

Implement Git Ops workflows and best practices

Container Management

Work with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers

Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot containerized applications

Optimize container builds and resource usage

Learn advanced K8S patterns (service mesh, operators, etc.)

Monitoring & Uptime

Set up monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for system health

Track uptime, performance metrics, and error rates

Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

Help establish SRE practices and reliability standards

Security & Compliance

Implement security best practices (IAM, secrets management, network policies)

Learn international compliance requirements (GDPR, PIPEDA, data sovereignty)

Conduct security audits and vulnerability scanning

Manage SSL/TLS certificates and encryption

Collaboration

Support developers working with Postgres, Next.js, and Python

Write documentation and runbooks

Share knowledge with the team

Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and automation environments.

The Essentials

2–4 years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on GCP

Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker

Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI)

Strong Linux/Unix command-line and shell scripting skills

Proficient with Git and Git Hub workflows

Exposure to Vercel or similar edge platforms (Netlify, Cloudflare Pages)

Working knowledge of Postgres (backups, monitoring, basic administration)

Familiarity with Next.js or modern JavaScript frameworks

Experience supporting Python applications

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation)

Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic)

Nice to Haves

Experience with international deployments or compliance requirements

Contributions to open-source projects

Personal projects or side hustles using modern Dev Ops tools

Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)

Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure

GCP certifications (or actively working toward them)

Technical blog posts, talks, or conference presentations
