Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and execute projects of moderate scope, ensuring delivery against defined timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. This role requires hands-on ownership of planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to independently manage day-to-day project challenges while escalating and advising on larger risks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead projects of moderate scope by defining clear project scope statements and developing detailed project plans that account for resource availability, task dependencies, schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Build and maintain simple risk management plans to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Track project progress against the approved plan, making adjustments as needed to optimize execution and delivery.
- Document project progress throughout the lifecycle and prepare concise, audience-appropriate status reports for project teams and management.
- Independently resolve minor project issues and risks; for major risks impacting scope, budget, or resources, develop mitigation recommendations for management review.
- Adjust project plans based on management guidance when delays, risks, or obstacles arise.
- Manage multiple small or limited-scope/derivative projects simultaneously as required.
- Apply PMI PMBOK principles and standard project management techniques, including scheduling, staffing, and basic resource planning.
- Utilize project management tools effectively to support planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree (preferred)
Experience:
- 2 5 years of relevant project management experience
Key Skills & Competencies
- Intermediate communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Intermediate presentation skills; comfortable presenting to peer-level stakeholders and one level up.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices; PMP certification preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in PC-based documentation and planning tools, including MS Office and MS Project.
- Experience with collaboration and reporting tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
- AI tool proficiency, including effective prompting, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Intermediate skills in delegation, follow-up, and task ownership.
- Demonstrated working knowledge or experience with Product Compliance and Regulatory requirements.
