This position blends investment-banking-level financial analysis with corporate FP&A, supporting initiatives tied to valuations, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, and investor communications . FP&A Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions Details
Monday thru Friday – ONSITE – 8am – 5pm
Great Compensation up to $180K/ year
FP&A Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions Responsibilities
This role focuses on strategic financial analysis, M&A support, and preparation of executive and investor-ready reporting.
Strategic Finance, M&A & Executive Reporting
Build and maintain advanced financial models , including valuations, scenario analysis, and transaction simulations
Support capital structure, refinancing, and strategic decision-making initiatives
Lead financial work streams for M&A activity , including acquisition analysis, carve-outs, and transaction impact assessments
Support due diligence and data room preparation , partnering with investment banks, valuation firms, and Big 4 advisors
Analyze multi-entity performance across P&L, cash flow, and working capital
Prepare investor- and executive-ready materials , including valuation summaries and Board presentations
Translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Drive ad-hoc strategic projects and deliver time-sensitive analysis to support leadership priorities
FP&A Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of progressive senior finance experience
2–3+ years of direct M&A experience (investment banking, private investment, transaction advisory, or similar)
Strong background in financial modeling, valuations, and transaction analysis
Proven experience preparing executive and investor-facing materials
Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint proficiency
Experience working with external advisors (investment banks, consultants, auditors)
Comfortable operating independently in a confidential, fast-paced environment
