What you will achieve in this role:
Monitor assigned accounts receivable aging reports and proactively communicate with clients regarding payment terms, outstanding invoices, and billing discrepancies.
Partner with project teams to reconcile accounts, issue invoices, and support timely collection of receivables.
Identify billing and collection issues and provide actionable recommendations to resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with the billing team to streamline and enhance billing processes.
Assist with month‑end closing activities, including preparation of accounts receivable reports and analysis.
Manage and administer third‑party client billing portals to ensure accurate submission and tracking of invoices.
Attend receivables review meetings and present updates on aging, collections, and performance metrics.
Develop and implement strategies to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for assigned portfolios.
Record receivables, adjustments, and related transactions within SAP.
Respond to ad hoc receivables inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain and update key reporting tools, including high‑risk or escalated receivables tracking reports.
Provide guidance to project managers and stakeholders on project close‑out and receivable clearance processes.
Support internal and external audit requests related to accounts receivable.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
What you must bring to this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable.
Experience supporting project‑based or engineering‑focused environments is considered an asset.
Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in project systems and receivables modules.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, discreet, and detail‑oriented approach.
Ability to work independently as a self‑starter while also collaborating within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
Working Conditions:
Primarily office‑based role with potential hybrid flexibility depending on business needs.
Fast‑paced professional services environment with strict reporting timelines.
Regular interaction with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Additional Information:
