Finance Manager - Schwank North America
This is a 1 year full time hybrid contract (maternity leave), based out of our new Head Office in Mississauga.
Schwank North America provides smart climate systems for commercial and industrial spaces. We focus on improving comfort, while lowering operating costs. We are the global market leader in the field of gas-fired infrared heating systems. We consider ourselves a solution provider. We plan and implement highly efficient systems for our customers.
We are looking for a Finance Manager who is registered with CPA Ontario, eligible to work full time for any employer in Canada and has 5 +years of experience overseeing direct reports and all aspects of Financial Management for a Manufacturing company.
The Finance Manager will be accountable for overall direction and policy for our Financial, HR, and Business Administrative activities. The Finance Manager will report directly to the President of Schwank North America.
The successful candidate will oversee the finance, accounting, payroll, tax, reporting, costing, budget, risk management, cashflow, inventory optimization, business administration, HR administration, office management, federal and provincial government subsidy program applications relating to hiring, training, etc. for Schwanks' Canada and U.S. entities.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work on cost efficiencies and optimize administration within the organization including benefits, vacation, insurance, and corporate structure (entities).

Experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing finance for a manufacturing company
- Demonstrated success working as a collaborative team member.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Refined business and financial acumen, with the ability to comprehend and communicate financial results.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze industry trends relating to administration and finance and successfully implement programs to optimize corporate performance.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders.
Education
- Relevant post-secondary designation (CMA, CPA, CA, MBA)
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
