-In-house gym and cafeteria.A Day in the Life: -Recognize and solve basic and advanced Curtain wall/Window detailing issues; demonstrate understanding of basic curtain wall construction methods.

-Read and understand Architectural and Structural Drawings.

-Foresee/solve and address curtain wall issues as they arise.

-Read and review specifications providing input for potential risks.

-Organize and schedule projects and draftspersons.

-Resolve outstanding drawing issues and pursue contract clarifications as required.

-Supervise, coach, mentor and provide feedback to Jr. Draftsperson(s).

-Plan and execute Curtain Wall/Window shop and fabrication drawings with input from the design team.

-Ensure all aspects of the project have been addressed and conveyed into the final shop drawing package.

-Plan the execution of projects through correspondence with Estimating, Project Manager(s), and the Design/Construction teams.

-Demonstrate understanding of building science, construction, and sequencing in all design deliverables.

-Check fabrication releases.

-All other duties assigned.
What You Bring: -Completion of Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Architecture, Engineering or Building Science.

- comprehensive experience in a similar role in the curtainwall industry is a must.

-Skilled user of AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit.

-Ability to read plans and specifications.
