** Job Description**##
** Overview
* * The Project Management Specialist (PMS) will report to a Project Manager (PM) and will be responsible for assigned senior level coordination of engineering, procurement, and manufacturing work for various Retube Projects (Cernavoda Unit 1, Pickering RF and Qinshan Units 1 and
2) that the company is executing. This role will require continuous communication with all project team members, and will be responsible for identifying, planning, and implementing various scopes of work under the direction of a Project Manager.
A PMS is expected to have project experience, understand project execution methodology including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality and contract management.##
** Your role
*** Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements across multiple projects.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including project managers, other project specialists, project coordinators, , procurement, engineering, quality, client, suppliers and subcontractors as required.
* Produce various project type deliverables including project reports, commercial change notices, procurement requisitions, non-engineering turnover documents, etc.
* Monitors post order progress of reactor component packages specially with respect to supplier documentation like Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and procedures for various manufacturing processes.
* Coordinates with Engineering and Quality departments to ensure that the technical documents are prepared and supplier documents are reviewed in a timely manner in support of the project.
* Manage, coordinate and track progress of Pre-Production Qualification (PPQ) parts through different stages of manufacturing, testing and acceptance.
* Visit supplier and sub-supplier facilities to help expedite progress of work with respect to engineering deliverables and various stages of manufacturing including final documentation prior to shipment.
* Collecting projects’ data, and preparing projects’ weekly/monthly progress reports. Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
* Prepare and maintain a project action log to be updated on a weekly basis.
* Chairing and minuting of meetings with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and project teams.
* Interface with engineering for technical items but not responsible for creation of engineering deliverables or resolution of (technical) issues.
* Perform with a high degree of independence.
* Provide status report of project milestones, and work with scheduling team to adjust schedules as required.
* Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with client and subcontractors.
* Deliver various presentations, reports and/or documents to stakeholders.
* Contribute inputs to the project schedule and/or budget and monitor adherence to project schedule and budget.
* Ensure work is performed within quality program requirements.
* Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.##
** About you**
* ** Reactor Components
Experience:
** 5 to 7 years’ experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement and project management of Candu reactor components is an asset.
* ** Project
Experience:
** Understanding of project delivery methodology including critical path scheduling, procurement and supply chain methodology and associated inspection and test plans related to reactor components is considered an asset.
* ** Manufacturing
Experience:
** Experience with engineering, quality, inspection and manufacturing of Reactor Components.
