Solidworks Technician

Description

Our client, a leading machinery company, is currently seeking an accomplished Solidworks Technician to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Create, develop and implement design solutions based on customer requirements and specifications in a 2D and 3D environment

2) Liaise with the In-House Manufacturing Team

3) Present mechanical components, weldments and assemblies

4) Communicate designs through excellent drafting layouts

5) Determine best engineering and design practices and communicate with peers

6) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

7) Create computer models of structures using specialized software

8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

2) Recent experience in the machinery industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
