Graham is actively recruiting a Senior Estimator for the Water/Wastewater Division. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role supports the estimating team by utilizing standardized processes and tools to deliver accurate project scopes, cost estimates, and meet deadlines. The Senior Estimator interprets tender documents and communicates clearly with internal teams and industry partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor team – Guide junior estimators and oversee the estimating process.
Prepare accurate estimates – Complete detailed cost estimates, including labor, equipment, and overheads.
Assess risks and opportunities – Identify constructability issues, cost‑saving strategies, and competitive advantages.
Manage bid process – Oversee bid closings and ensure subcontractor scopes and pricing are accurate.
Develop schedules and scopes – Create preliminary construction schedules and subcontractor scopes for planning.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field;
Gold Seal Certification and LEED/LEAN experience are assets.
Experience:
10–12 years of combined field and estimating experience in Water/Wastewater projects.
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in estimating software, MS Excel, scheduling tools (Primavera).
Compensation
Salary Range $135,000 to $145,000 per annum.
Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement.
Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience.
