** Jr. Engineering Specialist (Co-op)**, you will be assisting in various needs within the Test Engineering department, including prototype builds, inspection, testing, and reporting.

** What You’ll Be Doing:
*** Support Test Lab team and other Product Development team members on daily engineering tasks
* Support Engineering testing needs and develop tools for efficient test setup.
* Support the design and test of engineering prototypes.
* Support the root cause analysis of component failures.
* Technical report writing
* Hands-on support of components and testing
* Support the development and deployment of test equipment and fixtures.
* Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Motion Technology Canada Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems
* Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Motion Technology Canada Production System
* Interaction with production operators, technicians, and other key resources to assist with the documentation, standardization, and improvement of processes.

* What We’re Looking For:

*** Working toward an engineering degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
* Welcome both candidates from both Undergraduate Co-op Program and Graduate Co-op Program
* Mechanical aptitude
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
* Independent and self-motivated worker.
* Committed to meeting deadline requirements.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
* Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs.
* Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software.
* Able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.* “Can Do” attitude.
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
* Willingness to be involved in hands-on projects in the plant.
