Job Type: Full-Time | On-site Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of a multidisciplinary Mechanical and Electrical Engineering department. This role blends technical expertise, project leadership, and people management

Key Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership

Lead and inspire a team of 15 mechanical and electrical engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.

Recruit, mentor, and develop talent, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.

Provide clear direction, delegate responsibilities effectively, and deliver constructive coaching and feedback.

2. Operational Management

Oversee mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance across the facility.

Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

Uphold safety, efficiency, and compliance standards in all daily operations.

3. Technical Expertise

Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Research and introduce emerging technologies to enhance department capabilities.

4. Project Management

Lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with business priorities.

Manage project budgets, risks, and timelines to deliver on schedule and within scope.

5. Cost Optimization

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in engineering operations.

Monitor and optimize energy usage for improved efficiency.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to deliver value.

6. Collaboration & Communication

Act as the key liaison between engineering, operations, production, and facilities teams.

Translate technical information into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Build strong partnerships with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

10+ years of leadership experience in engineering within manufacturing, industrial, or commercial sectors.

Proven success managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from initiation to completion.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Valid passport with ability to travel internationally (20% to USA and Europe).
