Job Responsibilities:

The Corporate Strategy & Business Development Intern will support and lead several pivotal strategic engagements at McKesson Canada, including, but not limited to:

Qualitative and quantitative research
Market landscape, trends, and dynamics

Consumer preferences, prices, marketing preferences, and distribution patterns

Competitive intelligence, strategies, and threats

Data-gathering and analysis
Measurement of outcomes and effectiveness of programs and strategies

Monitoring and forecasting of sales and marketing trends

Insight communication and recommendations
Clearly articulated reports and presentations

Simple and reader-friendly charts, graphs, and visual aids

Qualifications:

Work experience: 1-3 years of prior experience in fields related to market research and data analytics.

Detail-oriented approach to qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior

Ability to gather, clean, analyze and interpret large volumes of data

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong communication skills
Ability to communicate across written and verbal formats

Ability to simplify complex information into a reader-friendly format

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate / advanced Excel skills

Basic understanding of databases and statistical packages

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including but not limited to, STEM, statistics, finance, business, market research, etc.

Physical Requirements

Role is based in the Mississauga office, following a hybrid, ‘Office as a Destination’ approach with 2 days/week in office

Occasional travel (~10%).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
