The Opportunity

This opportunity is ideal for individuals skilled at managing projects across multiple business units. The role involves leading and driving project initiatives, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals, and executing them efficiently within established timelines.

Position Description

  • Project Leadership: Oversee and guide projects across various business units, including Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Project Management: Skillfully manage multiple competing new product projects and deadlines. Maintain project timelines and proactively identify when critical dates may be at risk.
  • Strategic Assessment: Work closely with senior management to evaluate and prioritize projects that support the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Serve as the primary contact and owner for assigned projects, managing all phases from initiation to completion.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure accountability and progress across different organizational areas, meeting specified requirements and deadlines.
  • Product Commercialization: Supervise the entire product commercialization process, including new product launches, ingredient substitutions, and related initiatives.
  • Reporting and Solutions: Provide detailed project reports to senior management, including solutions to any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Internal Liaison: Collaborate with and follow up with various internal teams (e.g., R&D) to ensure timely execution of all project-related tasks.
  • Customer Communication: Manage direct communication with customers regarding project details and provide critical updates to the broker network as directed by Sales.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Partner with the Sales lead and other team members to assist in the creation and customization of sales materials for marketing-led and customer-specific initiatives
  • Experience

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing within the food industry is essential.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proven track record in liaising effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain high operational standards.
