Company Overview  The Crump Group Inc. is a family-owned and operated premium pet treat manufacturer. Started in 2006, we have successfully established 3 market leading brands (Caledon Farms, Crumps Naturals and Dog Delights) distributed throughout Canada and the United States. We officially started production in our North Carolina facility in August 2023, we continue to ramp up production in this facility and we are planning an $85M expansion.

Position Overview  The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall health of the company’s receivables. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and maintain positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities   Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts and accurately allocate incoming funds
Execute collections, and reporting activities in alignment with established deadlines
Perform account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies
Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delays, and irregularities
Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files and records
Prepare bank deposits and process receipts in accordance with company procedures
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and care
Review AR aging reports to ensure compliance and timely action
Initiate collection efforts and develop recovery strategies
Support month-end closing processes and assist during audits
Recipe for Success   Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Hands-on experience with Quick Books and ERP is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Quick Books proficiency
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and planning abilities

Experience with data analysis and information management
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
