Painter Lead

Description

The Painter Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating painting operations , ensuring high-quality finishes on all products. This role involves leading a team of painters, overseeing the application of ecoat and other coatings, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Lead and oversee the painting team to ensure timely and high-quality application of coatings.
• Coordinate painting schedules and workflow to meet production deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Train and mentor team members in proper painting techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain painting equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and adequately stocked.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve painting-related issues.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Document and report production metrics and quality issues to management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in painting or coatings is preferred.
• Proven experience as a lead painter or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of ecoat and other industrial coating processes.

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using painting and coating equipment.

• This position involves working in an industrial environment with exposure to paint fumes and chemicals.
• Physical demands include standing for long periods and handling painting equipment.
