La Joya ISD seeks a committed and motivated educator‑coach to serve as a High School Teacher and Volleyball Coach at Juarez‑Lincoln High School. The ideal candidate is passionate about student development, promotes a competitive athletic culture grounded in discipline and character, and values collaboration with staff and community stakeholders.

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the secondary level
• Experience as a head coach or lead assistant (preferred)
• Demonstrated success in team development and student engagement

Special Knowledge and

Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of TEKS and the ability to implement rigorous, standards‑aligned instruction consistent with the LJISD Instructional Framework.
• Deep understanding of UIL regulations and athletic compliance
• Effective classroom and team management skills
