Job Summary:Impact Professional Services seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated Health Information Tech to support our legal, medical records, and administrative operations. This role requires initiative, strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple assignments under pressure while ensuring that documentation, medical records and other sensitive information are handled and kept strictly confidential, and that all processes are managed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:Records Management
- Review patient files and identify any issues or discrepancies.
- Organize and transmit medical bills and records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Monitor and respond to emails and process dropped files in a timely manner.
- Assist with light cleaning duties to maintain an organized and professional workspace.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and email platforms.
- Proficiency in the use of office equipment including computers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones.
