Database Developer

We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to work on the development of the database layer of large ODS/DWH systems on the Oracle or MSSQL platform. The role is focused on development in PL/SQL or T‑SQL, working with very large data sets (TB of storage, hundreds of thousands of customers) and a metadata‑driven approach to development.

• Develop database components of ODS/DWH solutions on the Oracle DB or MSSQL platform
• Program in PL/SQL or T‑SQL as the main database development language
• Work with large data sets (1+ TB core layer, 5+ TB total DB, 500k+ customers)
• Optimize database objects and support data platform performance
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers and analysts

• At least 3 years of experience in ODS or DWH database development on the platform:
  • Oracle DB or MSSQL
• The main programming language during development was:
  • PL/SQL or T‑SQL
• Experience with databases that meet at least one of the following conditions:
  • core layer min. 1 TB
  • total DB size min. 5 TB
  • data for min. 500,000 customers
• At least 2 years of experience with metadata-driven development:
  • metadata creation and editing
  • template creation and editing

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools
• Knowledge of SQL query performance optimization
• Experience with versioning and CI/CD
