About the Role:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and product managers to implement and support high-scale data ingestion, empowering customers to explore new insights on their data and accelerating interconnection and the power grid development
• Own complex features end-to-end, from initial product and technical design stages through to production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and observability
• Be a steward of good data ownership, ensuring data security and privacy
• Help to maintain our high technical bar, participating in code reviews and design discussions to apply appropriate rigor to the software development process
• Support a collaborative and innovative culture by sharing ideas via RFCs, participating in solution ideation, and providing feedback on code and proposals

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of experience building full-stack applications
• Professional experience with several of the following technologies:
• Backend:
  Node.js, Type Script, Java, Python, or C#
• Frontend:
  React or a similar modern JavaScript framework
• Databases:
  Postgre
  
  SQL or another relational database
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production systems

• Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Production experience with Graph
  
  QL (queries, mutations, schema design)
• Familiarity with event-driven and microservice architectures
• Exposure to multi-tenant systems and role-based access control
• Track record of contributing to architecture and system design
• Comfortable in high-context, async-first engineering teams
• Daily user of AI-enhanced engineering tools, such as Cursor, Windsurf, Git Hub Copilot, or ChatGPT for writing, refactoring, and debugging code
• Interest or experience in integrating LLMs into production systems: prompt engineering, embeddings, structured outputs, or agent-style workflows
