Pioneer Evangelist – St Helier Centre of Mission (Maternity Cover)

The Pioneer Evangelist will be part of the St. Helier Centre of Mission, focusing on Children and Families work for 22.5 hours per week during term time only, to cover maternity leave, and supported and line‑managed by the Lead Evangelist. The main areas of work will include Primary Schools Work, St Helier Youth, ‘Come and See’.

Other projects within the Centre of Mission are Youth Discipleship;
Secondary Schools Work, Community Café, Art for Wellbeing and Alpha.

Hours:

22.5 hours per week, term time only. Working hours and rotas are subject to change by the organisation as required, based on operational/service need, though we try not to do this frequently. Some flexibility in working hours is expected.

Auto‑enrolment pension:
Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer and you will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.

Annual Leave: 247.5 hours of paid leave inclusive of public bank holidays pro‑rated to contracted hours.

Part‑time, Fixed Term – 12 months maternity cover.
