Job Posting: QUALITY INSPECTOR
OverviewPac Aero Mission is seeking a Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that supports daily manufacturing operations and escalates quality issues to the Quality Lead as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections using standard inspection methods and metrology tools
- Conduct thorough examinations of materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications
- Review, handle, and file material certifications
- Operate, run programs, and assist with troubleshooting vision inspection systems
- Draft, document, and file nonconformance reports and inspection records
- Maintain accurate quality documentation in accordance with controlled procedures
- Communicate nonconformances and inspection findings to the Quality Lead
- Support implementation and continual improvement of quality control procedures
- Identify equipment issues, measurement discrepancies, and product defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections and audits as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment
The pay range listed for this position represents a good-faith estimate based on the role, internal equity, market data, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, education, and internal pay alignment.

This position is subject to U.S. export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR. Employment may be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to comply with applicable export control laws and company policies.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to read drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or a related manufacturing role
- Hands-on experience with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, height indicators, etc.)
- Experience working with vision inspection systems
- Familiarity with nonconformance reporting and document control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented and methodical approach to work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-focused
- Willingness to learn and grow within a quality organization
