Emotive Landscapes is an award-winning, small but fast-growing garden design and build company working throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. We are looking for a superstar foreman to help continue to grow the size and reputation of the company.
We design and build gardens that are uniquely tailored to each client’s specific needs, tastes and lifestyles. These gardens are built with the highest quality workmanship and finished to the best possible standard with the objective of providing our clients many years of enjoyment. Great customer service and communication are at the heart of everything we do and are key to providing our clients with a first-class landscaping experience, from initial enquiry through to completion of the finished garden and beyond.

Job PurposeReporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the project co-ordinator, the Landscaping Foreman will ensure that Emotive Landscapes landscaping projects are delivered safely and to a high standard, whilst exceeding our client’s expectations.
The role will require a keen eye for detail and a high level of hard landscaping skills including paving, decking, blockwork and brickwork. You will be responsible for a small team of landscapers and must have great people skills and be able to organise and motivate your team whilst being the first point of contact for our clients and as such have a professional and approachable manner at all times.
KeyKnowledge
- Relevant experience/qualification in landscaping
- Good understanding of landscape construction
- Basic principles of horticulture
- Good knowledge of H&S requirements
- Awareness of project budgets and timelines
- Manage and oversee key domestic landscaping projects
- Work with Managing Director & project co-ordinator to plan work flow and priorities
- Understanding of design drawings and lead the setting out of sites and levels
- Able to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to problem solve
- Ensure you and your team adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
- Tickets/experience of using Plant Machinery safely
- Knowledge of and ability to lay paving, setts and stonework expertly
- Knowledge of and ability to lay blockwork and brickwork
- Construction of decking and fencing
- Shrub and tree planting
- Turfing and seeding
- Organise materials required to execute the jobs

- Salary: £34,000 – £39,000 (depending on experience)
