Overview

The Evangelism & Outreach Coordinator at House of Mercy Christian Assembly plays a crucial role in planning and leading outreach programs, developing evangelistic materials, and engaging with the local community. This position requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to spreading the gospel and fostering meaningful connections within the community.

• Plan and Lead Outreach Programs, including community service projects, evangelistic campaigns, and local missions.
• Develop Evangelistic Materials, such as tracts, flyers, and digital content to support outreach initiatives.
• Engage with the Local Community by building relationships and providing spiritual support.
• Coordinate Street Evangelism Efforts, ensuring strategic and impactful outreach activities.
• Train and Equip Church Members to actively participate in evangelism and outreach ministries.
• Organise Special Outreach Events, such as revival meetings, prayer walks, and charity drives.
• Collaborate with Ministry Leaders to integrate evangelism efforts with other church activities.
• Establish Partnerships with local organisations, charities, and mission groups to enhance outreach effectiveness.
• Monitor and Evaluate Outreach Programs to measure impact and effectiveness, making necessary improvements.
• Utilise Digital Media and Social Platforms to expand the reach of evangelistic efforts.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Experience in event planning and public speaking.
• Ability to develop effective outreach materials.
• Knowledge of biblical teachings and Christian discipleship.
• Skilled in relationship-building and networking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, volunteers, and community organisations.

This position reports to the Senior Pastor and works closely with the church leadership and outreach teams.

While not directly related to the job role, every staff member at House of Mercy Christian Assembly is expected to:

• Maintain God-ordained priorities by putting Jesus Christ first, family second, and ministry third.
• Give at least 10% of income toward the mission and vision of House of Mercy Christian Assembly.
• Be loyal to the vision and staff of House of Mercy Christian Assembly and protect the unity of the church.
• Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in all interactions with the congregation, staff, and volunteers.
• Invest and invite others to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and participate in House of Mercy Christian Assembly programs.

This is a full-time, salaried position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule includes weekday planning, Sunday services, and flexibility for special outreach events and ministry needs.
