Material Saving Engineer

Under direction of the Process Improvement Manager, oversee the reduction of costs for raw material losses and recycling based on specified target.

• The activity’s progress plan takes into account material loss and chute levels. All the players involved know their contribution.
• Material loss and recycling assessments are available and provide analysis of causes and costs of processing. The goals are acheived.
• Necessary action plans for progress and goal achievement are defined and followed-up.
• Right the first-time principles are applied.
• Managers of production processes are informed in the event of change or non achievement of results.
• Internal and external processing of waste and recycling comply with referentials, taking into account environmental constraints and central direction.
• All manufacturing operators know the processing rules for material loss and recycling which apply to their workstation, and they are applied.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related major.
• Fres graduate or 1-2 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Have experience in material loss control, waste management, recycling process, or cost reduction project.
• Strong understanding of raw material flow and production process.
• Able to analyze material loss, identify root causes, and define corrective actions.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement / Right First Time principles.
• Understand environmental compliance related to waste & recycling process.
• Good analytical skill and cost-conscious mindset.
• Strong coordination skill with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain team.
• Willing to be based in Cikarang, West Java.
