Primary Objective:

The Inbound Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and working to meet the daily goals of inbound operations during their assigned shift. This role ensures timely and accurate unloading, sorting, and returning of all incoming gear. The Shift Lead supervises a team of warehouse associates, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and works closely with management to meet performance goals.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead and work alongside the team in daily inbound operations including receiving, unloading, inspection, and inbounding.
• Ensure accuracy of inbound shipments against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Lead and motivate a team of associates and actively participate to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust labor as needed to meet operational demands.
• Collaborate with inventory control and procurement teams to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Train and coach new and existing team members on SOPs and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments, damages, and inventory movements.
• Conduct shift meetings and report key metrics and issues to Operations Manager and Warehouse Management.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as required (with proper certification).
• Identify process improvements and assist in implementing operational changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning.
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft products (Google Drive, Gmail, spreadsheets, Word Docs, etc.).
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one) preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, and holidays as needed.
