** To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across various makes and models.
* Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
* A Motor Vehicle Repairer's Licence (light vehicle repairs mandatory).
* A current and valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others.
* A customer-first mindset, with the ability to provide calm and supportive assistance under pressure.

** and help us deliver exceptional assistance to our members when they need it most.

* About the Role:
** Working on a flexible rotating roster of 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday, your key responsibilities will include:
* Responding to roadside assistance callouts, providing prompt and effective mechanical support to RAC members.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicle breakdowns with efficiency and precision.
* Performing minor mechanical repairs, adjustments, and services including battery replacements, tyre changes, and jump-starts.
* Delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring member safety and satisfaction during challenging situations.
* Coordinating with towing services or other specialist support where necessary.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed service records in line with RAC's policies and procedures.
* Start your day from a designated RAC location.
