Test Manager

Become part of a project that aims to develop and operate a key corporate solution. The project supports the daily functioning of various departments across the company and helps set up, optimize and maintain efficient work processes. The work involves collaborating with business, analytics and technical roles to deliver quality changes that have a direct impact on internal users and their work.

The project is at 50% capacity.

• Develop and implement a test approach/plan for project
• Implement the test lifecycle (specifying, planning, executing, and reporting overall tests) with all stakeholders
• Ensure testing aspects are addressed early in the project lifecycle and provide support to the project team
• Specifications of test cases/scenarios to validate and cover requirements (functional and non-functional)
• Ensure test planning for all testing activities
• Ensure test environments are available with required test data
• Ensure execution of all planned tests, retesting of defects, and regression testing, including non
  -functional tests
• Establish reporting mechanisms for testing and defects, and ensure continuous tracking and reporting of test and defect status
• Regularly providing reports on test status
• Establish communications on testing and actively conduct required meetings
• Actively communicating and coordinating with project managers, business users, internal/external software testers, and software engineers to ensure projects consistently deliver high quality
• Ensure business sign-off for productive deployments
• Support if necessary, during runbook execution and productive rollout

• A minimum of 5+ years of test management experience, ideally in an international project environment, 3+ years of experience in software testing, ideally in the energy and trading sector
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or in similar related field
• ISTQB Certification (Test Manager) or similar
• Experience in working with agile project management/test management tools like the Confluence Suite/JIRA, Xray, Postman
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases; designing and executing functional, system, integration, E2E and L&P manual as well as setting up test automation and executing automated test cases
• Full understanding of SDLC, QA, Test Case and Defect Lifecycle in Agile Setup
• Experience in Java, .NET and/or Python programming languages, SQL/No
  
  SQL databases, REST APIs and Swagger, AWS infrastructure, and CI/CD tool chains is an advantage
• An understanding of the trading and/or energy sectors and how applications, technology and IT services support the business processes
• Good communications and inter-personal skills, team and goal oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills are highly valued
