AI Strategic Advisor

For a major banking environment, we are looking for a very senior expert at the intersection of AI strategy, enterprise architecture, analytics and technology risks, who will act as a strategic advisor on the use of artificial intelligence. This is not a delivery role. We are looking for a visionary with analytical and security overlap who can define the direction, evaluate solution options and help the bank's management make the right and secure technology decisions.

The cooperation is carried out through consultations in the scope of approximately 20% of capacity.

• Defining the strategic direction of AI use in the context of the bank
• Assessing and comparing different approaches (LLM, ML models, hybrid solutions, rule-based approaches)
• Structured evaluation of the impacts of individual solution options on data, architecture, operations, costs and security
• Identification of technological, regulatory, security and reputational risks associated with AI
• Consulting on the integration of AI solutions into the existing banking ecosystem (core systems, data platforms, APIs)
• Collaboration with architecture, security, risk and compliance teams
• Translation of business needs into a technological and data concept
• Preparation of documents for decision-making by senior management and the board
• Presentation of recommendations and defense of the proposed direction at the management level

• Demonstrable experience with architecture or strategies of IT/AI solutions in a banking environment (prerequisite)
• Experience with the design of AI / Data solutions at the level of a large organization
• Strong overlap between technologies, business and analytics impact assessment
• Ability to compare solution options and formulate clear recommendations based on analysis
• Awareness of security aspects of AI and data solutions (architectural security, working with sensitive data, model risks)
• Overview of topics such as model risk, explainability, data governance, AI regulation
• Experience with designing integration architecture and impacts on existing banking systems
• Ability to communicate with architects, security, data teams and senior management
• Experience with presenting to C-level or board

• Experience with creating AI strategy or technology roadmaps in a bank
• Experience in the role of Chief Architect / Head of Architecture / CTO / AI Lead in a financial institution
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and risk management in banking
• Experience in environments with high demands on data protection and security
• Experience with deciding between on-prem and cloud AI architectures
