Senior Cloud Engineer

At Devcity, we don’t just build software; we build the digital backbones of projects that need to withstand anything. Currently, we’re looking for someone who rules the AWS ecosystem, isn't afraid to dive deep into architecture, and sees automation as a lifestyle rather than a chore. We want a partner who doesn’t just copy-paste Terraform modules from the internet but truly understands why and how things work in the cloud (or why they don’t).

You’ll work on a platform where security and scalability are at the extreme core. Forget "clicking in the console." We run pure Infrastructure as Code, automated releases via Git Lab, and build environments resilient to both outages and security threats. This is a playground for a senior engineer who wants a real impact on how products reach users.

• Design & Build:
  You’ll own the complete design of cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)—from HLD/LLD documentation to final deployment
• Automate Everything:
  Your best friends will be Terraform and Git Lab CI/CD. The goal is predictable and secure infrastructure
• Guard the Security:
  Security isn’t just a checkbox for us. You’ll implement IAM policies, encryption, and network segmentation to make the system bulletproof
• Tune the Network: VPCs, Transit Gateways, and routing must be second nature to you
• Be a Mentor:
  Collaborate with developers and security teams, explain the benefits of your solutions, and push the platform forward together
• Office Presence:
  Be able to drop by the office 1–2 times a month to sync up with the rest of the team

• AWS Core:
  Deep knowledge of EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS is a must
• Terraform:
  Not just knowing it, but being able to write modules, manage remote state, and handle drift detection
• Git Lab CI/CD:
  Pipelines, runners, and automated infrastructure testing are your daily bread and butter
• Networking & Security:
  We get that cloud networking is a science. IAM, VPC, DNS, and encryption (KMS) are areas where you excel
• Scripting:
  Python or Bash for the tasks where Terraform isn't enough
• Experience:
  
  You have at least 5 years of hands-on AWS experience and 7+ years total in Dev Ops/Cloud
