Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is currently hiring for an energetic and experienced Front Office Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring profitability, controlling costs and maintaining quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction, overseeing room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, staffing, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. The incumbent also compiles and prepares financial reports, including rate and availability calendar, and manages guest relations.

They interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff, providing leadership and guidance to Front Office staff to ensure consistent quality service.

What will I be doing?

As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring profitability, controlling costs and maintaining quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, staffing, scheduling, forecasting and department budgeting, compiling financial reports, interviewing, training, supervising, counseling and evaluating staff, and leading the Front Office team.

  • Encourage a team spirit among staff with leadership and guidance.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff; assign and instruct guest service and front desk agents.
  • Use creative management skills to solve problems and ensure compliance with Hilton standards.
  • Manage the front desk through times of stress and emergencies, resolve guest concerns and implement solutions with discretion and judgement.
  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice and listening to understand requests, issues and situations from both guests and team members.

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000–$90,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
