Mission Valley Post Acute is looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents.

* Job Description:
* Assist the Activity Director in implementing a variety of engaging activities designed to meet the interests and needs of residents.
* Ensure that all activities comply with current federal, state, local, and corporate standards and regulations.
* Help assess the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident to tailor activities accordingly.
* Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages resident participation in activities.
Requirements:

* Education:
** High school diploma or equivalent.
* *
* Skills:
** Ability to read and write; capable of professionally responding to inquiries from visitors and residents.
* *
* Experience:
** Preference for candidates with at least one year of experience in a long-term care facility;
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are encouraged to apply and may receive a higher pay rate.
