Job Summary
The QI Specialist will work closely with the Quality department and Administration team to ensure continuous quality improvements and outcome measures for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or mental health diagnoses.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport quality management including data analysis, reporting, and maintaining an appropriate balance between operational realities and program quality, effectiveness, and outcomes.
Assist with facilitating management and training of Quality Improvement activities and act as a Certified Investigator.
Serve as a resource person to all departments, providing expertise and guidance on quality matters.
Collaborate with dedicated professionals to drive meaningful change and help individuals in need.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Health Care Administration, or Social Services. High school diploma plus additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.Experience:
Minimum of one year in quality management within the healthcare industry and one year working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or mental health diagnoses.Knowledge of healthcare organizational dynamics, regulatory and agency standards, and principles of quality improvement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, project management skills, and strong data collection and analytic skills using computer applications.
Facilitation and training skills with the ability to adapt, be flexible, and change activities quickly, making swift and sound decisions independently.

Competitive salary: $19.11–$21.79/hr based upon experience.
