We are currently hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist!
The Behavioral Health Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals and case managers. You will provide individual counseling to patients being seen in our healthcare clinic. The Mission of Heart Ministry Center is “Providing food, healthcare, and a way forward to people severely affected by poverty in the Omaha area”. We do this through our free medical clinic, our food pantry, and our intensive case management and job training/placement program.
The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services to patients of the clinic. You will provide expertise and leadership in the development of clinical functions within the mental health treatment setting, serving as a resource to employees who may have mental health-related questions and require services. The therapist will address such issues as severe mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict.
This is an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing services to a broad spectrum of community members. The therapist will be familiar with other services and resources in the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required.

Pay range:
Contracted, 10-20/week, $45 – $50/hr, commensurate with experience
