The Program Manager will assist in planning, executing, and tracking outcomes and deliverables as part of developing and maintaining a portfolio of community-engaged, health disparity research programs.

Job Responsibilities ):
*** Oversee and assist with implementation of day-to-day project and budget management for community-engaged, health disparity research programs, including in collaboration with other academic institutions and community-based organizations and stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain systems for tracking multiple community-engaged, health disparity research program deadlines, activities, and outcomes.
* Develop and coordinate progress reports and presentations as required by research program sponsors or in communicating programmatic outcomes to diverse stakeholder audiences.
* Plan and provide logistical support for research and community stakeholder meetings
* Assist with development and coordination of research grant proposals and budgets
* Other duties as assigned

* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

*** Knowledge of specific federal funding agency policies and procedures (e.g., NSF, NIH, DOE) and online submission systems.
* Develop and maintain systems for tracking multiple community-engaged, health disparity research program deadlines, activities, and outcomes.
* Develop and coordinate progress reports and presentations as required by research program sponsors or in communicating programmatic outcomes to diverse stakeholder audiences.
* Familiarity with human subjects' research requirements, IRB procedures, and data governance best practices.
* Plan and provide logistical support for research and community stakeholder meetings
* Assist with development and coordination of research grant proposals and budgets
* Other duties as assigned          
** Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:
*** Demonstrated knowledge of program and project management methodologies.
* Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets accurately and apply concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to handle multiple priorities in stressful situations
* Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate a high degree of patience, and adapt to changing priorities without disruption
* Strong system development skills, including high proficiency with software programs
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft office products
* Strong oral and written communication skills
** Education and Experience

Required:

*** Completed master’s degree in a public health, community health, or related scientific field
* Prior community engagement and/or community-engaged research experience
* Prior program or project management experience
