The Tax Manager – North America is responsible for overseeing all tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities across the region. This role ensures compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local tax regulations in the U.S. and Canada, while also supporting strategic tax planning to optimize the company’s overall tax position. The Tax Manager will work closely with finance, accounting, and external advisors to manage corporate income tax, indirect taxes (sales, use, VAT, GST/HST), transfer pricing, and tax audits.

This position plays a key role in providing guidance on the tax implications of business operations, transactions, and cross-border activities, as well as ensuring accurate and timely filing of all required tax returns. The role requires strong technical knowledge of North American tax laws, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax matters to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Job Description

Mission: Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects led within the operating area, based on established standards and procedures, developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client. The sub-function is responsible for the organisation’s tax matters and optimising the organisation's tax situation, including the calculation of tax obligations, drawing up tax statements and submitting them, and conducting investigation, analysis and interpretation for purposes of compliance, planning and tax optimisation.
