This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Member Advocate located in Mission, KS. The Member Advocate will assist members by providing exceptional customer service in handling daily financial transactions, answering account inquiries, and addressing concerns. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, explaining credit union products and services, processing loan applications, and identifying needs to suggest appropriate financial solutions. Member Advocates will also assist in resolving member issues efficiently and maintaining accurate records of all account‑related activities.
Qualifications- Customer service and communication skills to provide an exceptional member experience and handle inquiries or concerns effectively.
- Proficiency in financial services, transaction processing, and account management.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to address member needs and offer tailored financial solutions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling account‑related processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
- Prior experience in banking, credit unions, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, business, or related areas is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and financial software applications is an asset.
