Position: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.
Location: 6300 Nall Ave, Mission, KS.

SummaryUnder the general guidelines of the Bank President, the Loan Manager will provide leadership and day-to-day overall direction and administration of the lending functions of the bank. The role will result in growth in deposits, assets, loans, profits, number of accounts, return on investment, efficiency of operations, quality and scope of financial services, and also equitable benefits to the bank’s customers, associates, and shareholders.
In conjunction with the Bank President, the incumbent will formulate objectives, goals, strategies, and plans for the Loan Department. Provide day-to-day leadership, motivation, direction, and coordinate the bank’s loan staff to attain short-range and long-range results. The Loan Manager reports to the President and will provide the primary leadership for the day-to-day supervision of the loan operations. As the bank’s senior loan officer, the Loan Manager is accountable to provide guidance on large and/or difficult loan requests and other loan related issues.
- Set goals for the Lending Department and lead the Lending Department in their marketing effort.
- Assist each associate to achieve training goals.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for taking care of all customers by greeting them quickly, cordially, calling them by name, and making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Achieve personal and departmental referral goals, making customer calls to solicit new business, community involvement, and building relationships with customers.
- Process loan requests as needed and monitor the quality and performance of loans serviced. Help resolve customer complaints and objectives, and assist in formulating and administering loan policy.
- Accountable for developing contacts and information, analyzing and evaluating data and opportunities, and charting a challenging course for the bank’s credit and lending programs.
- Keep the President and the Board of Directors thoroughly informed with progress in all phases of the bank’s loan activity.
- Manage appropriate delegation of responsibility and authority to officers and non‑officer personnel.
- Guide loan officers in the uniform application of credit and adherence to Arvest Bank Group Loan Policy and Procedures.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, including completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer or account activity.

- Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.
