** Manager, FBA Brand Advisor
A Brand Advisor serves as a strategic business partner to Consumer Mobile business, working closely with Commercial, Technology, and Enabling teams. The role focuses on delivering complex financial and business analysis to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive value creation. This position is responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and ad-hoc analysis, as well as explaining variances between actual and expected results.
The Brand Advisor plays a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements, enhancing financial discipline, and strengthening business performance management. The role actively participates in projects and cross-functional initiatives, providing analytical insights, problem-solving support, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
** Duties and Responsibilities
** 1. Financial Planning Process and Alignment
* Facilitates the end-to-end planning and budgeting process by: + Setting financial guardrails aligned with business and corporate targets + Communicate key assumptions and planning parameters + Coordinating budget submissions across stakeholders. + Challenge unrealistic, inconsistent, or misaligned inputs. + Identifying synergies, risks, and efficiency opportunities during consolidation + Provide sound advice on financial modeling, planning, and forecasting while balancing cost, quality, and timeliness + Ensure financial plans are aligned with strategic priorities, brand objectives, and operational execution.
2. Business and Operational Appraisal
* Establish performance monitoring frameworks and KPIs to track financial and brand health.
* Develop a deep understanding of: + business operations and customer dynamics. + Market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory factors. + Key value drivers such as acquisition, retention, ARPU, promos, and distribution efficiency.
* Identify root causes of performance outcomes and translate them into actionable business insights.
* Clearly and constructively communicate findings to business leaders and decision-makers.
3. Business Partnering, Perspective, and Advisory
* Act as a strategic advisor by providing an independent and objective financial perspective.
* Engage stakeholders in discussions on: + Financial and brand performance. + Microeconomic and macroeconomic impacts on prepaid business. + Trade-offs between growth, profitability, and investment.
* Influence decisions by: + Building credibility and trust. + Demonstrating alignment with business objectives. + Communicating value through strong, data-driven storytelling.
4. Performance Analysis and Decision Support
* Identify and explain root causes of deviations between actual and planned results.
* Provide analytical support on: + Profitability and margin analysis. + Cost drivers and efficiency opportunities. + ROI and payback of brand and commercial initiatives.
* Deliver clear recommendations on the financial impact of critical business decisions.
* Ensure financial insights directly support line management actions and strategic direction.
5. Stakeholder Relationship Management
* Serve as a trusted finance and business partner to internal clients.
* Translate complex financial data into simple, actionable business insights.
* Provide timely, relevant, and practical financial advice.
* Promote finance as a value-adding and strategic function, not merely a control role.
6. Project and Program Management
* Assess the financial and competitive impact of project delays or changes in scope.
