Job Title: Construction Subcontract Lead

• Post-Contract Award:
  Develop and maintain registers for all subcontracts to monitor the performance against the responsibilities undertaken as per the Subcontract.
• Instruct the Subcontractor on the procedure of Administration.
• Review and validate the progress payments submitted by Subcontractors.
• Assure that extra works, new unit prices, claims, back charges, liquidated damages and close out of the Subcontracts are performed/processed in accordance with the relevant procedure.
• Ensure that letters and notices from the Subcontractors are appropriately replied to.
• Ensure all letters, instructions and notices given to Subcontractors are acknowledged and acted upon in a timely manner.
• Monitor key dates against dates defined in the main contract, variations and claims submittal advice to project management team of the implications of project program and forecasts (e.g., delays/costs).
• Analyze issued Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions, Deviation Requests to determine cost impact related to Subcontracts.
• Participate actively in change management and risk management sessions.
• Manage commercial close out of Subcontract Agreements. Follow up on Completion Certificates.
• Ensure collection and sharing of lessons learned, feedback and returns of experience on issues/criticalities encountered during subcontract management activities.

• Education: Engineering Master’s Degree or bachelor’s.
• Languages: English language skills required (Portuguese will be considered as a plus).

• 12 months contract (renewable).
