* Job Purpose:

** The purpose of this role is to lead the maintenance and operational management of electric low-voltage systems for Cairo Metro Line 3, ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of assets. This includes developing maintenance strategies, supervising teams, managing compliance with safety and technical standards, and supporting ongoing projects related to sustainability, facility management, and commercial ventures.
** Responsibilities/Duties
**** System Maintenance*
* • Lead the maintenance and analysis of complex electric low-voltage systems.
• Ensure that electric low-voltage systems are maintained according to established schedules and industry standards.
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies to reduce the risk of failures and ensure system reliability.
• Review staffing and operational activities during assigned shifts for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Manage and audit maintenance providers' teams and their activities.
** Technical Leadership*
* • Provide technical management for maintaining electric low-voltage systems, including troubleshooting complex issues.
• Update SOPs and checklists based on the asset conditions.
• Oversee routine inspections and maintenance tasks against KPIs such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), ensuring that all parts are functioning safely and properly.
• Monitor inventory of materials, equipment, and parts consumption.
• Guide electrical technicians through troubleshooting complex issues and system resolutions.
• Manage the handover of assets with clients and warranty service providers.
• Develop overhauling plans for assets in accordance with standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to assess complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Standardize asset performance using predictive maintenance tools.
** Technical Analysis*
* • Conduct performance analysis and simulations to optimize system efficiency and functionality.
• Diagnose root causes of system failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Provide regular asset condition assessments.
** Team Management*
* • Supervise and collaborate with the maintenance team, service providers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Oversee client service provider activities and ensure alignment with project requirements.
** Documentation*
* • Prepare technical documentation such as design reports, specifications, and user manuals.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance logs, equipment failures, and corrective actions taken.
• Follow up on spare parts strategy and ensure accurate maintenance of consumption and requirements.
** Inspection*
* • Carry out regular inspections to assess the condition of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Test operational systems and emergency features to verify their functionality.
** Customer Communication*
* • Provide maintenance service updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Offer guidance on the proper use and care of assets to clients and users.
** Collaboration*
* • Participate in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and objectives.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient coordination of maintenance activities.
• Work closely with safety inspectors and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Liaise with clients and service providers to ensure that project requirements are met.
** Training and Development*
* • Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and technicians on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to system maintenance.
** Quality Assurance*
* • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all maintenance work meets company standards and industry regulations.
