- Ensure network security policies align with NIST, FedRAMP, and DHS CDM compliance frameworks.
- Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments using tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Splunk.
- Provide strategic recommendations and hands-on expertise for firewall configuration, intrusion prevention, and secure network design.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in resolving network switch and firewall conflicts.
- Proficiency in EDR tools and vulnerability management platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud security integrations and Zero Trust Architecture.

- Ability to interpret and apply federal cybersecurity frameworks to real-world environments.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on firewall and network security.

- Proven experience in VLAN segmentation, secure switch configuration, and firewall hardening.
- Experience with misconfigured or expired certificates and secure remediation practices.
- Expertise in cloud security platforms including iBoss, Prisma Access, and Harmony Checkpoint.
- Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, and DHS CDM compliance.
- CISSP – Highly desirable due to the strategic level of responsibility.
- Additional certifications such as CEH, PCNSE, or CCSP are a plus.
