About You

As a Diverse Learning/Learning Support Coordinator (2 Point) , you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The Diverse Learning/Learning Support Coordinator (2 Point) position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be f ull-time and p ermanent .

Responsibilities
  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate the ability and experience in developing individual learning plans that includes learning adjustments, post school support, enrolment in discreet or life skill courses, special provisions and work placement
  • be highly collaborative and able to build the collective and individual capacity of the Learning Support team
  • demonstrate experience with programming and assessment design, reporting and feedback
  • effectively use data and evidence based approaches to foster school improvement
  • show exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies
  • have proven ability to differentiate instruction, cater for the diverse needs of learners and personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
Qualifications

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • secondary education experience and qualifications in Diverse Learning Support
  • NESA accreditation.
