Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding learning experiences for Year 1 students, focusing on learning, enrichment, and wellbeing.
  • Lead and develop a high quality Year 1 curriculum aligned to the English National Curriculum.
  • Be a reflective practitioner, supporting colleagues through coaching and sharing best practice.
  • Maintain positive pastoral care as the first point of contact for form tutors.
  • Contribute to the broader school life through co‑curricular and community events.
  • Support the school’s Mission, Vision and Motto, and uphold safeguarding policies.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher status (UK or UK‑recognised).
  • PGCE,

    B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with Primary/Year 1 students.
  • Evidence of curriculum planning, assessment, and pastoral care.
  • Experience in an international or expatriate school is an advantage.
