Mission Fellows serve as representatives of the Office of Mission & Community Learning. Fellows develop a year-long project that activates the MICA community across majors and programs, seeking to build connections outside of the bounds of the classroom. By developing opportunities for community members to collaborate on exhibitions, civic engagement, and service, Fellows apply research, creativity, and community-building skills to support the MICA campus.

*** Organizing and supporting programs.
* Participating in in-class workshops
* Curating & organizing the Fall exhibition
* Develop and Support Civic Engagement programming in the Fall semester
* Supporting the Spring Annual Benefit Fashion Show (ABFS).
* Maintaining a minimum of three (3) weekly office hours, with a maximum of 7 office hours per week.
* Communicating support needs & issues as they arise: attending biweekly meetings with supervisor and monthly team meetings
* Attend Summer Training and New Student Orientation
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
* Proficient in social media platforms.
* Strong event planning and facilitation skills
* Knowledge of event planning-related logistics
* Willing to engage in topics that address issues of concern, including, but not limited to those relating to social issues and power.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must be a currently enrolled MICA sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate or graduate student at the time of employment
* Have existing experience in student leadership positions
* Basic experience in event/program facilitation
* Willing to engage in topics that address issues of concern, including, but not limited to those relating to social issues and power.
* Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout the time of their employment as a Fellow
* Commit to one-year employment (fall and spring semesters)
* Prior experience in organizing events & programs
* Graphic Design knowledge.
* An existing practice of civic engagement
* Experience with facilitating critique and/or group discussions.
